How To Care For 100% Poly Jacquard Fabric

Update:04 Nov

100% poly jacquard can generally be used as a material for high-end clothing production or the decoration industry (such as curtains, and sofa release materials). The manufacturing process of 100% poly jacquard is complex. The warp and weft yarns are intertwined to form different patterns. The concave and convex are arranged, and many beautiful patterns such as flowers, birds, fish, insects, birds, and animals are woven.

100% poly jacquard has a unique texture that is soft, delicate, and smooth, with good gloss, good drape and breathability, and high color fastness (yarn dyeing). The patterns of jacquard fabrics are large and exquisite, and the color layers are distinct and three-dimensional, while the patterns of small jacquard fabrics are relatively simple and single. Jacquard is divided into two-color jacquard and single-color jacquard.

Single-color jacquard is a jacquard dyed fabric - the jacquard grey fabric is woven first by a jacquard loom, and then dyed and finished, and the finished fabric is solid color; multi-color jacquard is a yarn-dyed jacquard fabric - the yarn is first dyed and then passed through the jacquard loom. It is woven and finally finished, so the yarn-dyed jacquard fabric has more than two colors, the fabric is rich in color, not monotonous, the pattern is three-dimensional, and the grade is higher. There is no limit to the width of the fabric, and the pure cotton fabric has a slight shrinkage, no pilling, and no color fading.

  How to maintain knitted fabrics

Washing: Clothes are woven from protein-based delicate health-care fibers. It is not advisable to rub on rough items and wash them in a washing machine. Immerse the clothing in cold water for 5-10 minutes, and use special silk detergent to synthesize low-foaming washing powder or neutral. Gently rub with soap (if you are washing small fabrics such as silk scarves, then you can use shampoo as well), and then rinse the colored silk clothes repeatedly in clean water.

Drying: Clothing should not be dried in the sun after washing, and should not be dried in a dryer. Generally, it should be dried in a cool and ventilated place. Because the ultraviolet rays in the sun tend to yellow, fade, and age silk fabrics. Therefore, silk clothing should not be twisted to remove water after washing. It should be gently shaken, and the reverse side should be spread out to dry. After drying, it is 70% dry and then ironed or shaken flat.

Ironing: The anti-wrinkle performance of clothing is slightly worse than that of chemical fibers, so there is a saying that "no wrinkle is not real silk". After washing, if the clothes are wrinkled, they need to be ironed to be crisp, elegant, and beautiful. When ironing, let the clothes dry until 70% dry, then spray water evenly, wait for 3-5 minutes before ironing, and the ironing temperature should be controlled below 150°C. The iron should not directly touch the silk surface, so as not to produce aurora.

Preservation: Preserve clothing. For thin underwear, shirts, trousers, skirts, pajamas, etc., first wash them, iron them dry, and then store them. For autumn and winter clothes, jackets, Hanfu, and cheongsams that are inconvenient to remove and wash, dry cleaning should be used to clean them, and iron them until they are flat to prevent mildew and moths. After ironing, it can also play the role of sterilization and insecticide. At the same time, the boxes and cabinets for storing clothes should be kept clean and sealed as much as possible to prevent dust pollution.
